La Quanna "LQ" Chong has been on the beauty scene since 2007. After attending Make Up Designory in NYC, La Quanna began working for The Powder Group as a production assistant. She had an integral role in producing The Makeup Show (NYC, Miami and LA). While working, she attended cosmetology school and became the editorial/production assistant for The Powder Group's own "On Makeup" magazine. Once licensed, La Quanna became a full-time makeup artist / hairstylist. Feelancing in the tri-state area, she has had the opportunity to worked with a wide array of clients and photographers. Currently, La Quanna is the Resident Makeup Artist for XI Magazine as well as Beauty Contributor. La Quanna also freelances with Make Up For Ever. From The Grammy's Red Carpet to New York Fashion Week, LQ is rocking the beauty industry.
