There are many ways to measure time, to leave evidence of it. I chose the wear and tear of everyday objects that accompany us while they come in handy and that we abandon without hesitation the moment we feel they’re used up, that they’re old. This series aims to emphasize how much our point of view have changed in our consumist society, where time and the times are measured in basis of the wear and tear of these objects. An old running shoe is not old because of when it was purchased but rather because it’s been used up – consumed.
