I am Wendy Correa, I started shooting with my 35mm Canon Film camera back in Junior High and was hooked to photography ever since. I immediately started to shoot documentary style of the world around me. In wanting to reach out and learn more about the editorial magazines i would pick up from news stands, I started an internship with King Magazine. Taken under their wing by my photo director and associate photo director i quickly learned how to conceptualize a photo shoot and see its potential seen through.
Today I have taken those skills and have adapted to grow into other publications by having the pleasure of working with them in the industry and having a reputation working well with others. The list of publications i have worked with has extended from King Magazine, Scratch, XXL, Antenna, Vitae, Vain, and VIBE.
I have the ability to put a foot in any genre of photography, I can set up a photo shoot, work with stock agencies, and keep assigning myself projects to continue my thrust for creating art. I look forward to expanding my cliental with other publications, meeting new people and networking to build a team.
Here in this portfolio you will be able to see the work I've done in the industry, and also a little of what i can do as a photographer.
I would love feed back on my personal work, one can grow from others point of view.
Additionally, after the competitiveness of the magazine industry I was led into a RabbitHole named EarthSeaWarrior. This is where i partnered with a designer whose work is impeccable in lighting and home decor. This start up company has been featured in Forbes Magazine, and has been spreading like wild fire with other prestigious companies. To hear more of the story of EarthSeaWarrior check us out at
