Born in Maryland, Makeup Artist Alana J finds beauty in simplicity. She uses her travels in her artistry, pulling inspiration from her surroundings.

After studying Theatre at Hampton University, Alana decided instead to nurture her passion for makeup, turning that interest into reality. She studied and perfected her craft, working under prominent figures in makeup, and alongside noted photographers and stylists.

Alana J is available for travel nationally and internationally, providing makeup for celebrities, events, fashion shows, advertising, commercial and editorial print. She is currently based in New York City and Washington, DC.
