Olka Osadzińska is a young artist from Warsaw, Poland.
She recently designed a limited line of cans for Redd’s and took part in STAR TREK viral campaign organised for Paramount Pictures by Mark Hunter aka The Cobra Snake.
For this project she has designed two t-shirts and painted the Star Trek USS Enterprise space ship. Among the very few artists invited for this project was a famous graphitti artist André.
So far she worked on a few major projects and cooperated with brands such as Nike, Reebok, Jägermeister, Max Factor, Hugo Boss and other, as well as with advertisement agencies in Poland and abroad.
She also worked with variety of fashion and lifestyle magazines – Glamour, Machina, Warsaw Insider, Exklusiv, Viva!, PANI, Futu, B EAST, iDN, Inesco, Stimuli, Lecool London, Yen Australia, Fashion156.com and other.
Her works were featured in the latest Gestalten publication on fashion illustration – "The Beautiful. Illustrations for Fashion and Style". The Beautiful presents the work of today’s 100 trendiest and most promising illustrators in the areas of fashion, lifestyle, editorial design, and commercial illustration.
On June 5th 2008 she launched her exhibition project NITE STORIES in cooperation with Mark Hunter (TheCobraSnake) and Soulwax. Representative of the Flemish Government has taken the patronage over the exhibition.
Between June and September 2007 she did an internship at one of the most famous graphic design studios, Vault49 studio in New York.
In June 2007 she held her first exhibition – JAK MALOWANE: PICTURE ME, organised in cooperation with Nike. She had the chance to exhibit her works, and arrange the Warszawska Nike concept store space with artists she invited for this project Damien Vignaux and Nicolas André (www.incog.fr).
She worked for Ania Kuczynska, one of the best Polish fashion designers.
She was interested in fashion ever since, which led to cooperation with several clothing brands like PROSTO – Polish hip-hop brand, for which she designed a folklore inspired line of T-shirts and hoods.
She also cooperated with Steve Aoki’s DIM MAK Collection.
A t-shirt she designed for Polish pop-singer Reni Jusis as a part of anti HIV/AIDS campaign was one of the most commented pieces of the project.
