I was born in Los Angeles Ca. in 1971. I grew up in Hollywood CA except for the time between 2 and 6 years old when my parents moved from Hollywood to Oakland to Oahu and back to Hollywood. I attended Los Angeles County High School for the Arts but decided to pursue an academic degree as an undergraduate. I attended U.C. Santa Cruz where I was introduced to surf culture and travel. I took time off to travel and then graduated in 1998 with a BA in Art History.
The subject content of my present artwork observes the relationship that people have with animals. The use of horses in my paintings is a representation of transport in it’s most innocent and rudimentary form. I paint images that have particular importance to me.
