I bring a decade of experience to
Web Design, SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and Digital Marketing in Austin, Texas
. I design websites, develop digital marketing campaigns and optimize search engine placement to connect my clients with customers and build communities. My works combines a strong visual approach with an intense focus on technical process to develop digital marketing products that increase sales, expand markets and build communities.
Prior to working as a contract web developer and digital marketer, I was a
in New York. I am also one of the original
co-founders and creators of Dripbook
When I lived in New York, I worked as a commercial and editorial photographer shooting music, fashion and culture. I had a lot of fun and am hugely proud of the work which crossed boundaries between digital and extreme analog, showcasing both the crisp and grit of that beautiful city.
I worked a lot with analog films including the amazing Polaroid 665, which I bought by the case from any corner store that stocked it as it was being phased out by the manufacturer. I had a drum scanner in my shotgun apartment and used a lot of now no longer available film cameras like the Contax T3. As digital turned to motion, I used Canon cameras tethered to skateboards and BMX bikes to experiment with the adaptations of the medium.
In 2007, I co-founded the creative platform Dripbook when I lived in New York and grew it into an award-winning international portfolio website for commercial artists including advertising photographers, illustrators, designers and stylists. I had a lot of fun developing and commercializing popular products on a three-per-year release cycle including:
Web based platform that allowed non-technical commercial artists to upload images and video, create portfolios and be hired by art buyers at ad agencies and magazines worldwide
Website builder that turned each artist's portfolio into a stand alone website - hosted at any domain - that automatically synchronized with any changes to the artist's digital portfolio
Mobile Apps for iOS and Android that automatically synchronized to each artist's portfolio and stored image and video assets locally to allow for network-free display
Custom Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr Social Media Apps that automatically posted to each artist's social media feed each time the artist updated her portfolio
HTML5 responsive redesign of the entire platform resulting in mobile, tablet and desktop ready reinvigoration of a 7 year old platform with 500,000 visual assets
