From boot camp and bullets to brushes and backstage, Alfred discovered life has more twists and turns than his favorite motorcycle road. Growing up an athletic Midwesterner, running track, playing soccer, football and never missing “the game” on Sunday unless he was fishing.

Looking for challenge and adventure, Alfred joined the military where he had exciting hands-on training in the U.S. Army. The quest for excitement continued leading Alfred to the Chicago Board of Trade where he found himself flashing buy and sell hand signals on the trading floor. Before long, the next thing on the trading floor was Alfred’s career.

It was a friend and fellow artist that put forth an alternative to life on the trading floor. Astute, she thought he had the personality and creativity suited for make-up artistry. Recognizing his unique aptitude for the profession, she arranged a job interview for Alfred. The next thing he knew, cosmetic companies were hiring him for retail events. Immediately Alfred was hooked.

Lured by its unique identity, Alfred went to work for M.A.C. Cosmetics and excelled quickly to a touring Senior Artist where he built an international reputation for creativity, attention to detail and speed. Whether back stage at Fashion Week, in front of a television camera or presenting workshops to fellow artists, Alfred’s obviously in his element.

After seven dedicated and exciting years with M.A.C., it was again time to shake things up a bit, striking out on his own to begin what would become a successful freelance career with an impressive clientele. Alfred’s experience spans all forms of media and entertainment including advertising, print, films, television shows and celebrities including Heidi Klum, Cindy Crawford, Alicia Keys.

Ever the risk taker and adventurer, Alfred now calls New York City home. Represented by Utopia The Agency, Alfred continues to succeed and grow as an artist. And, yes Alfred still watches the game every Sunday, unless he’s fishing!!!!
