Basso & Brooke
showed off some of the hottest prints for spring summer at the spring 2008 shows this fall. Their crazy designs experiment with shape and colour. I especially liked the hats which reminded me of the late Isabella Blow.
On the catwalk their designs look over-the-top and un- wearable but with minimal accessories and simple sandals they could be worn to work or to parties, they have a slight boho vibe, so expect Sienna Miller to buy some of the pieces. The silk adds a feminine edge. Remember when copying this trend to keep hair and makeup simple, with the bright colours on the dress you may start to look like you are trying to recreate 2007's obsession with nu-rave. And you don't want that!
