"Featured in Dripbook" January 2009 Newsletter.
Posted on 29th January 2009 by Alex Wright

Here's the January 2009 issue of our "Featured in Dripbook" newsletter, sent to art directors, art buyers, bloggers, editors and others interested in checking out the work of artists on Dripbook.

There's a signup link to receive the newsletter in the footer of every page on Dripbook.

Thank you all for your support, and thanks to Vince Fraser, Reed + Rader, Nissa Quanstrom, and Liset Garza for taking part in this edition.

Our HTML editor for these blogs kinda screws with the CSS of the newsletter designs. To see how the newsletter really looks, head here. But below is a good approximation:

Featured in Illustration:
Vince Fraser   -  London, United Kingdom
Freelance designer and illustrator Vince Fraser has worked for many leading International advertising, editorial and publishing companies. Having originally come from an Interior Design background the progression to digital arts was a natural one.
Featured in Photography:
Reed + Rader   -  Brooklyn, New York
Reed + Rader is the New York based creative collective of artists Pamela Reed and Matthew Rader. They work in mixed media with photography, illustration, and design. With collage, their work illustrates the realities of the multitasking world and depicts likely near-future scenarios where technology and the arts have converged.
Featured in Prop Styling:
Nissa Quanstrom   -  San Francisco, California
We asked Nissa Quanstrom to recall some of her most interesting professional moments. Wrangling 20 live turtles to find the most "attractive" to mixing it up with a vintage 12 foot tall casino slot machine nicknamed "Bertha" Nissa approaches each project with a seasoned air. She has had the pleasure of working with some of the most recognizable names in the field and you can find her work in Glamour, Real Simple, and Esquire.
Featured in Makeup:
Liset Garza   -  Los Angeles, California
Liset Garza is a Makeup Artist based in Los Angeles. Just recently had been fortunate enough to work with top makeup artist Kabuki. Focusing on fashion now she's done everything from print work, to runway, to celebrities. Her clients include Discovery Channel, Ole Henriksen, La Direct.
