I want to show you one of the features on Dripbook that I find profoundly useful. It's the Private Books function. It's is an excellent way to send specific portfolios to art buyers or other clients.
To learn more about how to make and send your own Private Books, head to the FAQ answer here.
The days of sending the same book to all contacts on your list are fading. More and more buyers we speak with ask for specific examples of an artists work that are relevant to that art buyers needs or to the culture of the larger agency. With Dripbook's private books function you can make specific portfolios for each specific contact, email the links to those contacts, and similar to email marketing, be notified when the portfolio has been seen.
The artist Mario Sughi, offered us a behind the scenes access to his Private Books.

Private books are created the same way you'd make a public book at Dripbook. With private books though, once the book is made, you can choose to announce it, and be notifed when the book is seen.
Mario took some behind the scenes shots of his account manager for us. When Mario logs in this is what he sees...

...his current books, the ability to add new books, public books, and a handful private books he's been sending. Mario recently sent out one of his private books and, similar to email marketing, received a confirmation email letting him know the book was seen, on which day and at what time.

Thats the whole scoop for private books. it's an awesome piece of the marketing puzzle.
As time goes on, artists will need to make their marketing more and more targeted. Using private books displays your interest in working with the new contact by making a specific portfolio just for them, plus gives you an advantage over fellow artists who send the same book out to everyone.
