Overhead of Milstein Hall, Cornell College of Architecture, Art and Planning.
Cornell requested an image as if you were looking down on the space through the roof. The 25,000 square foot studios have 12 foot high ceilings. A custom rig was built to lift the camera to the ceiling so it was facing down. This was moved around the space and 250 separate images were captured to cover every square inch of the studios. All the images were then combined on the computer. Any area that is white represents a structural element that goes from floor to ceiling.
