Since moving to LA 6 years ago to pursue her passion in makeup, Desirae Cherman has been on a whirlwind of success. Artistic by nature, Desirae has developed a keen eye for seeing natural beauty in the world. She got her start working on independent films and television before landing a job as an assistant to Pati Dubroff. She went on to train with the biggest makeup artists, working on fashion shoots and New York runways. Desirae has since moved on to the celebrity world, gaining clients such as Carly Rae Jepsen, Bethenney Frankel and Zooey Deschanel. She has the ability to quickly adapt her training from editorial fashion to the red carpet, to the camera.
Desirae, a California native and loyal vegetarian, is a strong believer in using eco-friendly products. Her innate inclination to be bright and positive allows Desirae to make her clients feel comfortable and at ease. Her smile is infectious, perhaps because it is so easy for her to see the beauty before her. She can bring out the natural beauty in anything and anyone.
