Ben Kaufman started photography at twelve years old. His interest came from seeing his godparent, Harvey Wang's, own photo work. Ben was self taught, starting out rolling his own 35mm film and shooting, taking notes on what each thing on the camera did to the photos. He continued shooting all through his youth and a few years ago began assisting professionals. From his assisting work he learned more advanced techniques and studio lighting. From there he went off on his own, now working in fashion, music, and fine art. Ben has an abundance of imaginative worlds existing in his head, and is passionate about bringing them out and sharing them with the world through photography.
