Art + Wonder
Diana has been sketching clothing designs since she was a toddler. Art practice has been her lifelong pursuit, and she has grown adept at several disciplines including Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, and Photography. But it is the world of Fashion that has always enchanted her most.
Any visual product contains layers of meaning: the superficial, psychological, metaphorical and mythical. Diana believes that the more layers are addressed in the design of a visual piece, the more deeply the viewer is seduced by the piece's Message. Her work reflects her careful attention to these "lines inside the paint."
Diana's social consciousness drives her to work with ECO & Ethical brands, placing these fringe artists into the traditional fashion scene. She believes that ECO-Fashion is the future of the fashion industry.
Her work has been published around the world in leading magazines such as VOGUE Korea, Z!NK Magazine, Volt UK, BG Magazine, and The Wild.
Diana has a M.A. in Visual Culture: Costume Studies from New York University, and B.A.s in both Visual Art and Comparative Religion from Brown University.
Her favorite thing in the whole world is a Good Challenge!
