Jean-Philippe Martin is a multi-disciplined individual who applies his creative and professional skills to his career interests. Jean-Philippe works in fashion beauty photography, microprocessor design and is the inventor of HOLOPIC™, a holographic picture technology (TheHolopic.com).
Art has been part of Jean-Philippe’s life since childhood; he would browse through his father’s photography journals and always showed immense interest in his music education classes.
After he graduated with his degree in electrical and optical engineering, he finally had the time and resources to start his personal exploration of self expression through photography. Martin’s work in beauty, fashion and commercial photography has been recognized and published internationally. His work was featured at the South by Southwest Interactive Trade Show and he was nominated as one of 2010’s best photographers by Photographer's Forum pfmagazine.com.
Jean-Philippe is driven by dedication and passion. For him, there is no substitute for knowledge gained through experience and he believes that within everyone there are notable technical and artistic skills. Jean-Philippe also believes there is no limit to his success if there is no limit to his efforts. He has found that by mastering technique, he opens the doors to new creations, and through his creations, he invents new techniques.
Jean-Philippe’s innovative approach to businesses, technology and photography has paved the way for him to integrate his professional and personal interests. Jean-Philippe enjoys being challenged by his work; he recently joined Recursion Ventures (Recursion.com), located in New York City, on a contractual basis to provide insight on FPGA and ASIC microprocessor design. In addition, as he gains increased momentum and exposure for his invention of holographic viewing technology, HOLOPIC™, he continues to produce quality commercial and fashion photography.
