I am a New York City based photographer originally from Connecticut. I graduated in May 2006 with a BFA in photography from the School of Visual Arts in New York. Several photographs from the durham series were a part of the SVA Mentor Show, and I have had work in numerous publications. I have been independently photographing events in New York for nearly ten years. I have photographed high profile product launches, charity, corporate, and special occasion events, and have mastered the skill of blending into the party and capturing the ambiance and energy of the event while being respectful of guests and their experience. There is no lighting situation or close quarters that I cannot handle. I have been hired to shoot in numerous event spaces and venues around New York, from posh venues such as the Standard's Boom Boom Room to rooftops with gorgeous sunsets, dark, crowded nightclubs and people's private apartments. I am familiar with navigating parties on yachts and have even spent a night shooting one-handed while riding in a party bus.
