Artist ~ Designer
I am enamored with the cohesion and tension of classical art deconstructed to the minimalist of form. The traditional figurative to the transitional gestural and contemporary minimalist form to the deconstructed abstract.
Texture and form~ utilizing all of my resources; my expertise in color and decorative painting, response to composition and lyrical nature of each piece, relying upon intuition for layering and revealing detailed vignettes.
The line in its entirety combines artistic interpretations of classic art with graphic and material elements of today.
Continually evolving, my art is created without narrative and truly has become more about celebrating the process and create moving intrinsic art.
I have been in the design industry since 1989, originally in decorative arts but have transitioned into fine art and interior design.
Prior experience as a production artist and then manager of a large scale calendar and greeting card company afforded an ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
We create fine art, abstracts on plaster, landscape abstract, figurative abstracts, custom wall covering, painted geode and agate, painted faux bois panels, painted maps, murals, faux finishes, ornamental screens, painted tapestries, botanicals, gilded panels, and equestrian paintings and photography.
