Michelle McDonald, Fashion Stylist – Biography 2009
Michelle has worked on many, many high profile consumer product campaigns: including detergents, adult beverages, personal care products, financial services, airlines, sporting gear & clothing, restaurants, communications, toys, electronics, automobiles, shampoo, news and personalities. For the last five years Michelle has consulted with ABC News, educating talent about what to wear on camera.
Noteworthy experiences have included: a Nike commercial dressing New York Yankees & New York Mets for a stick-ball game in Harlem, working with Dan Ackroyd, a shoot with Tyra Banks, dressing Willie Nelson for a stunt, creating a human-size Arctic Squirrel for Dial-A-Mattress, producing 100+ dresses & 60 jeans for Tide, learning to shoot a basket with Alonzo Mourning, styling Joshua Bell as he rehearsed on his Stradivarious, hearing James Carville rant about traffic, dressing Richard Gere, chatting with Lou Dobbs about CEO’s/a dime-a-dozen and watching an actress throw red wine all over an actor time and again for Tide to Go.
Michelle graduated with a BFA in Painting & Drawing from SUNY Purchase. She was the recipient of the Neuberger Award for Excellence in Painting & Drawing in her graduating class.
Michelle is available to style Commercials, Print Photography Advertisements, Editorial and private clients. She has keyed projects with over 100 actors and she really enjoys a job where beautiful taste prevails.
