Rana Faure is a photographer with a versatile, laid-back approach and a vibrant, singular style. Rana produces still and motion imagery for a wide variety of clients. Captivated by photography, painting and film at an early age, Rana cultivated a career surrounded with images and their makers.
Rana left the bright fluorescent lights of the corporate world to focus on photography and family. Previously, she was the Director of Photography for Getty Images NY, the worlds leading provider of imagery, where she directed the creation and selection of award winning photography. Rana was Photo Editor at Seventeen magazine. and has been involved in many facets of the industry such as photo production at Industria Superstudio, freelance film/video production, as well as personal and commercial photo projects. Rana participates, organized and presented at professional community and trade events for photographers.
Rana attended Syracuse University for theater/film, New York University and International Center of Photography continues her education on a daily basis . She attributes her innate vision to her parents, both photographers and now shares cameras with her own family.
