Domingo, also known as DJ, moved from San Diego to New York City in 2008 to pursue a career in editorial and fashion. After working extensively in New York and assisting Serge Normant, he is currently a stylist at the John Frieda Salons and prolific editorial hair stylist. His close working relationship with Serge Normant has been invaluable in forming his stylistic perspective and in broadening his technical abilities. After more than five years of this apprenticeship, Domingo has worked closely with many top editorial and celebrity clients.
Domingo has worked with celebrity clients such as Mick Jagger, Jennifer Aniston, Blake Lively, Sarah Jessica Parker, Lucy Liu, Sophia Bush, Ellen Barkin, Katie Holmes, Helena Christensen, Jessica Lange, L'Wren Scott and Doutzen Kroes to name a few.
His winsome, inventive and compelling point of view have opened significant doors for his work in the editorial world. Domingo has worked with notable photographers such as Patrick Demarchlier, Mark Seliger, Mariano Vivanco, Mary Ellen Matthews, and Henry Leutwyler. His work has also appeared in American Vogue, Rolling Stone, Elle, Allure, Vanity Fair, Crash, Modern Luxury Magazine, Flaunt, Russian Harper's Bazaar, Interview, Marie Claire, Bullett, Seventeen, THAT, The Wild Magazine, LoveCat and O Magazine. His television credits include Project Runway and Saturday Night Live.
In addition, Domingo has also worked every season of fashion week since his arrival in New York City with designers including; Proenza Schuler, L'Wren Scott, Max Azria, BCBG, Catherine Malandrino, Victorinox, Charlotte Ronson, Banana Republic, Brian Reyes, Tracey Reese, Lela Rose, Mark Bouwer, Thuy and Lyn Devon.
