Nina Robinson began studying photography a decade ago at the Academy of Art University, San Francisco. She worked as a freelance photographer for MediaNews Group, the second largest newspaper company by circulation in the United States. Photojournalism encompassed an element of rawness and storytelling that became her forte, Robinson incorporates these elements throughout most of her work. Through the years she developed a particular interest in shooting live music and editorial portraiture and now shoots for The Hell Gate, a photo licensing agency specializing in music imagery and is partnered with Corbis.
"Everyone has a story and it's my passion to tell these stories. Whether it's a single portrait or a series of photographs I strive to speak truth."
Currently based in New York City and available for freelance assignments.
