Woland was born in Rome in 1975. After a start in men's portraiture for Italian luxury publishings, he eventually turned to fashion photography from 2006.

The experimental visual freedom of this language got him fascinated thanks to the virtually endless storytelling possibilities, inherent in the fashion idea.

During the past few years, as a photographer and creative director, he produced a vast array of fashion editorial stories and advertising campaigns, commissioned by a broad number of magazines and fashion brands around the world.

Woland is based in London with his studio.
