Tanya Cooper is an illustrator based in Melbourne, Australia. Her work takes everyday images - from ubiquitous advertising slogans to African wildlife - and sets them loose in contexts ranging from the mundane to the bizarre. Charlie began her career in Los Angeles, training at Vidal Sassoon Academy and with celebrity makeup artist Troy Jensen. Pursuing a studio career Charlie moved to New York and worked alongside world-renowned studio hairstylist Yannick D'is in America and Europe as his first assistant. Most recently Charlie was a hairstylist for the Armani Prive and Givenchy haute couture shows in Paris, France.
