Raised on Catalina Island off the coast of
Southern California, Trevor Smith spent
his youth on the edge of the Pacific Ocean
surfing, sailing, and diving in the island's
rich kelp forests.

His love of photography began early,
documenting friends on countless
surf caravans through out California and
the Baja Peninsula. Later work and luck
brought Trevor to Paris where he had the
opportunity to point his lens on the city's
thriving fashion world.

Completing his studies at the University
of Southern California, Trevor furthered his
experience while working with SMASHBOX
Studios and apprenticing with some of the
industry's leading photographers. There he
honed his technique in lighting, composition
and portraiture.

Trevor now lives in New York City where he
continues to develop his creative craft. His
style moves freely between lifestyle, beauty
and fashion yet always reflects the sensibility
of his coastal upbringing and West Coast roots.
