About the Line and Designer:

tristan + trista is a contemporary high-end Ready to Wear woman's collection which takes the principles of masculinity and femininity and infuses them into hand crafted clothing. Raised in Los Angeles, Kristine Megrikian (Owner & Desinger) began her love affair with fashion early in life. Her family operated atelier, which houses the tristan + trista label, focuses on tailored avent garde pieces inspired by film, TV, and music. What makes tristan + trista unique is that the designer is able to combine elegant silhouettes with a modern flare using masculine and feminine elements through textiles and fit. The line is most known for mixing contrasting textures soft silks and hard leathers hence the name tristan + trista.

In February 2009, the tristan + trista collection immediately cultivated an impressive buzz when it made its preview debut in Japan. Today, tristan + trista skillfully utilizes fit by paying attention to the female form, while at the same time complementing both the masculine and feminine essences present in all of us; "My inspiration comes from the romantic, the heroin, the villain and the saint. I am a dreamer, a romantic and admirer of fantasy. My clothing is my canvas and I hope you enjoy my ART."
