Charis Tsevis is an award winning visual designer living and working in Greece.
He holds a Diploma of Graphic Design from the Deutsche Höhere Lehranstalt für Grafik und Werbung Athen (accredited by the Akademie für das Graphische Gewerbe) and a Master in Visual Design from the Scuola Politecnica di Design, Milano.
Charis manages his own studio by the name of "Tsevis Visual Design" in Athens serving clients all over the world.
His client list includes companies like Nike, PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, Toyota, IKEA, Nikon, Unilever, Penguin, agencies like TBWA\Chiat\Day, Saatchi & Saatchi LA, Leo Burnett Hong Kong, BBH Sao Paolo, DDB Munich and media like Time, Fortune, Sports Illustrated, Los Angeles Times, Sunday Times, Panorama, Epoca, The Wall Street Journal, Wired and more.
He is a visiting professor of Communication Design at the AKTO College since 1996. He has also presented seminars at the Panteion University of Athens and he has given lectures in numerous national and international conferences and symposiums like the TEDx Athens, International Conference on Typography or the Adobe D-Day.
He has been a regular columnist in the most respected design and computer magazines in Greece (+design, RAM). He has also written 2 books about Adobe Photoshop.
Charis' work is awarded by Epica, ED Awards in Europe, NPSA in the US, EBGE in Greece and others.
His work has been featured in prestigious books like the "200 Best Illustrators" by Luerzer's Archive, the "100 ideas that changed graphic design" by Steven Heller, "Design by Nature" by Maggie Macnab and many more.
