Dave's principal business is commercial portraiture which is featured in national magazines, collateral materials and advertising. With hundreds of covers and billboards, thousands of assignments and hundreds of thousands of miles traveled, he has never questioned his decision to become a photographer. Photography is one of the only things he does where the world falls away while doing it. Dave's work continues to win awards. He has launched an unusual marketing campaign which has captured the attention of the national press and is helping him to elevate his career while meeting new folks with which to collaborate.
Dave's decision to become a photographer came while working construction after high school. Standing hip deep in a slush of partially frozen water, diesel fuel, and oil concentrate, he began to dream of reading philosophy, art history and photographing. Four years later, after graduating number one in his class with a BFA from the University of Dayton, he moved back to Philly. A short while later, he started to acquire top clients; the vast majority of whom he still works with.
